Get your dog in the zone, the comfort zone. The key to a good pet relationship is understanding the nature of the dog and fulfilling the dog’s needs. When we understand them, we can then teach them our expectations and create the balance, and comfort, that is needed for a well-mannered dog.
K-9 Comfort Zone adheres to a balanced dog training approach focused on establishing a reliable partnership between you and your dog that is founded on the building blocks of trust, respect, confidence, and loyalty.
In-home, professional dog training allows us to focus and work in your dog’s normal environment, where they spend most of their time. Together, we can address what you particularly want to learn and address problems you’re experiencing in your household. In order to coach you effectively, we recognize that a large part of our responsibility is to direct you towards a better understanding of how dogs think and learn. Dog obedience training will give both you and your dog an anxiety-free relationship. All family members in the household are included.
Basic Obedience or Manners | Obedience exercises are important for all dogs, especially high-energy breeds that need mental stimulation as well as physical exercise. Simple behaviors like sit, down, stay, come, and leave it are essential for a well-behaved and safe pet. |
House Training or Potty Training | If you aren’t sure you are doing things correctly, or you’re frustrated, we can work together to get your household on track. |
Leash Walking | Pulling on the leash makes it walks difficult. A dog who is uncomfortable on a leash is more likely to become frustrated, which can lead to leash reactivity. |
Behavior Modification | Behavior modification is an approach for changing undesirable behaviors that your dog exhibits, such as jumping. |

About the Trainer
I have worked with dogs for most of life in a variety of ways. I have been a vet assistant, worked in the area of rescue, grooming, and I have been a trainer for over fifteen years.
My fur babies include a Pit Bull and three cats.
I want to help you get your dog in the zone with one-on-one, professional training.
